- Social-environmental influences on children’s physical activity and sedentary behaviors

Dr Huang’s research focuses on physical activity and sedentary behaviors, with a particular reference on understanding the multitude factors that influence such behaviors among children and youth. She is also heavily involved in knowledge transfer projects on promotion of active lifestyle. Dr Huang is currently holding two external research grants funded by General Research Fund (GRF) and Health and Medical Research Fund Research Fellowship Scheme (HMRF-RFS) as principal investigator. She is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Exercise Science & Fitness and has served as reviewers for various journals in relevant fields. Dr Huang is also a member of Promotion Sub-Committee of the Health Care and Promotion Scheme (HCPS), Food and Health Bureau.
